UK Insurer Penalizes drivers for accidents associated with Mobile use
The move by an insurance provider to penalize clients who get into crashes while using mobile phones is hailed as a good move by the Institute of Advanced Motorists and will set the trend for many years to come. The government through the Department of Transport sees almost 90% of all drivers who still use mobile phones while driving as a significant risk and the move would greatly improve road safety. Other providers would be sure to follow for it has been made into law that disallows the use of mobile phones while driving due to safety issues. Many people around the world die as a result of mobile use and the insurance provider says that investment in cheap hands free Bluetooth kits for mobiles would be a better price to pay than penalization should you gets into a crash as a result of mobile use.
